Student Events

Who is eligible to attend the Connection Corner networking lunch?

The event is open to OVMA Student Members, as well as OVMA veterinarian members.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes. Members can sign up during MVC online registration. Under the "Special Events" category, select "Connection Corner" to add it to your registration. This serves as your RSVP.

What if I can no longer attend?

Log in to your attendee profile to remove the event from your registration (click here for step-by-step instructions) or send your regrets to event coordinator Krysten Bennett.

Other Special Events

Do I need to register for MVC Sunday Lunch?

Registration is not required. The event is open to everyone who attends on Sunday; lunch is available for the first 300 attendees.

My practice is hiring or I am looking for a job. Are there any recruitment opportunities at MVC?

Community Bulletin Board

Attendees are invited to post and browse employment opportunities and for-sale listings on the bulletin board located outside the Exhibit Hall. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Recruiting Opportunities

The MVC currently does not host a job fair or other recruitment events, but attendees are welcome and encouraged to use the mobile app to network with colleagues.

Meeting Space

The MVC does not provide dedicated private interview space, but attendees may set up small informal meetings amongst themselves in the common areas. The mobile app can also be used to set up appointments with other attendees.
