MVC Cancellation Policy

When personal or professional circumstances prevent a pre-registered individual from attending, OVMA will refund registration fees less 10%, provided a written refund request is submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on the following dates:

  • Canceling In-Person Only or Hybrid registrations: Feb. 19, 2025.
  • Converting an Existing Registration: After Feb. 19, 2025, attendees who wish to convert from in-person/hybrid to virtual only will incur a 10% fee on the canceled portion of their registration.
  • Canceling Workshops, Labs, & Special Events registrations: Feb. 19, 2025.
  • Canceling Virtual Only registrations: March 3, 2025.

Registration Transfers

Alternatively, your registration may be transferred to another person rather than canceled. Please note, if the person to whom you are transferring your registration is in a different category (for example, you are a technician transferring to a veterinarian), you will be responsible for paying any outstanding charges at the time of transfer.

How to Transfer a Registration

You may transfer your registration by one of the following methods:

Option 1: Contact us in advance. Submit your transfer request using our contact form or send an email to info@mvcinfo.org. Be sure to include the following information:

  • The current registrant's name and email address
  • The new registrant's name, email address, and indidivual type (veterinarian, technician, staff, etc.)
  • The new registrant's registration preferences (live and/or virtual MVC, how many days, etc.)

Option 2: On Site. The new registrant may transfer the registration on site by bringing the original badge to the attendee assistance desk.
