Bringing together highly regarded experts from around the world and hundreds of industry vendors, the MVC is a national-caliber conference—at a Midwest price.
Veterinarians, technicians, hospital staff, shelter personnel, students, and other animal care professionals in all fields of veterinary medicine attend the MVC. For more information on our attendees, please see the About page.
The MVC will be held online from Feb. 16 to 20, 2021.

Registration starts at $99 for veterinary professionals. Please see the Registration Fees page for a full list of costs by individual type.
Registrants have access to all 180 hours of sessions and speaker documents via the MVC Virtual Platform, as well as CE verification. There will also be a Virtual Exhibit Hall. All content will be available live beginning Feb. 16 and on demand for 60 days following the conclusion of the MVC.
No, multiple individuals may not share a single registration. Your access information is unique to you and can only be used to log in on one device at a time. Furthermore, only paid registrants can claim CE verification for license renewal purposes; OVMA will NOT verify CE for anyone who is not registered.
Additionally, registrants are not permitted to record speaker videos or sell speaker content to unregistered individuals or companies.
For technical reasons, we are unable to offer online group registration as we have in the past. However, you can still register on behalf of multiple individuals; on the first page of registration, provide the attendee's information and check the box labeled "I'm registering on behalf of this person." Once you have completed one person's entire registration, including payment (we promise it's quick!), you can return to the first page and register another person as an administrator.
Registrations for MVC Virtual must be completed online.
Yes. Not only is this your primary identifier to ensure all your information (contact details, past registrations, payments, membership, etc.) is linked to you, but you will also use it to log in to the MVC Virtual Platform. Please do not unsubscribe from/opt out of emails from OVMA, as this will prevent you from receiving your login password.
Registrants are able to pay by check; simply select that option on the payment page. Checks should be made payable to OVMA and mailed to 1472 Manning Pkwy., Powell OH 43065 within seven days of registration. However, we cannot generate purchase orders.
Be advised that any registrant with an outstanding balance will not be able to access the MVC Virtual Platform until payment is received in full.
If you no longer wish to attend the MVC, you may cancel your registration or transfer it to another individual. Partial refunds of 75% of the fee paid will be issued for cancellations received by Feb. 10, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. EST. There will be no refunds issued after this date. Refer to your confirmation email for instructions on how to cancel or transfer your registration.
MVC Virtual offers more than 180 hours of sessions in 25+ tracks. Each day will offer 12 tracks of three sessions each between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. EST. Additionally, at the end of each day's track, you will be able to interact with speakers for a live question-and-answer period.
Continuing education requirements are governed by regulations and policies in each state. Most states have modified and/or suspended their existing CE rules during the pandemic.
In short, yes. The Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board has modified the existing CE rule to allow for all CE credit, for both veterinarians and technicians, to be taken online live (e.g., real-time webinars) or via archived programs watched at any time (e.g., on-demand or pre-recorded webinars). Just as with in-person classes, there is no testing requirement for online classes to verify engagement and/or retention. Learn More»
We are working to verify information for evolving changes for online CE in other states and will post these here as we receive them. In the interim, for those outside Ohio, you may wish to verify online CE acceptance with your state licensing board and/or veterinary medical association.
Due to the nature of 2021 MVC Virtual, we are not producing a hard-copy program. You may view the program in its entirety on the Education page.
No, you will not be able to select your sessions during registration. However, you will be able to build your own schedule in the MVC Virtual Platform.
Historically, all states* accept the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board's approval of MVC programming within their own state. Additionally, the RACE application process for a program of MVC's size involves an expense of several thousand dollars, which would have to be passed on to attendees. Therefore, the MVC does not file for RACE approval.
*With the exception of New York and Texas.
Yes, provided the speaker shares these documents. These materials will be available on the MVC Virtual Platform during the live MVC and for 60 days following.
No, you may participate in/view any and all sessions you'd like!
The session times shown on the educational program are when the presentations will go live. They will be accessible on demand within 48 hours of the live broadcast and remain accessible until April 20, 2021.
Registered attendees will be able to access a Certificate of Particpation & Record of Continuing Education, on which they can list the sessions they attended and whether they viewed them live or on demand. Please log in to the MVC Virtual Platform to download this form from the home page.
CE reporting forms for the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and the Sanitarian Advisory Board are in the handouts section of each Animal Behavior (CCPDT) and Public Health (Sanitarian) track.

How do I check in to a booth? Look for text that says "Help OAHF and [Company Name] ensure a brighter future for animals!” (Located at the top of most booths under the logo; for other booths, it may be at the bottom.) Check the box and click submit. In featured booths, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the blue box that says “Get rewarded for your visit” and repeat the above process.
Yes! We will be hosting a Virtual Exhibit Hall, which attendees will be able to access 24/7 once the conference begins. Additionally, we will hold a live Exhibit Hall hour following the end of concurrent sessions each day from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.
The OVMA will not release your contact information to non-exhibiting companies, and we will never provide or sell your email address to any non-exhibiting/sponsoring third parties. Please be aware, however, that the contact information you provide may be obtained by Exhibitors with whom you interact in the Virtual Exhibit Hall.
One of the best parts of the MVC is the exhibition—including the freebies! Although we cannot promise you'll be able to score the usual amount of free pens, bags, and stress balls, many exhibitors will offer raffles or show specials.
The MVC will also make a donation to the Ohio Animal Health Foundation for every booth you check in to. Additionally, we will be raffling off daily and grand prizes for attendees who visit and check in at featured booths! Learn More»
