Individuals who have received rabies pre-exposure vaccination and continue to be at risk for exposure are recommended to have their titer checked every two years. This service, offered by ARCpoint Labs of Columbus, OH Metro, will be available for a cost of $75 for a rabies antibody screen or $95 for rabies antibody endpoint testing. Payment may be made in cash, credit card or check made payable to ARCpoint Labs. Results will be mailed within three to four weeks.
Most of us know that the addition of visual aids and hands-on experiences enhance learning, but fewer people recognize the importance of reflection in the learning process. Studies have shown that when individuals have a chance to reflect on the material they’ve been taught, they become more confident in new concepts and increase retention. This can be done through individual activities such as journaling or through discussion with a group of peers. To that end, the 2020 MVC will offer a dedicated space for reflection, where attendees can gather to take their learning to the next level.
This year, the MVC will offer complimentary beverages throughout the day, and visitors will also be able to purchase lunch right in the Exhibit Hall during the midday break.
Located just outside the Exhibit Hall south entrance, this is a place where attendees can take a break to relax, recharge their devices, and catch up with colleagues.
Attendees are invited to post and browse employment opportunities and for-sale listings on the Community Bulletin Board, located just outside the Exhibit Hall. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis; MVC personnel are not available to set up displays or post jobs. Those who would like to use this service should bring their own supplies to post their listings.
