Please be aware that downtown Columbus is busy in the morning, and multiple events occur at the GCCC simultaneously. Also keep in mind that registration lines are the longest first thing in the morning.
*You can save time by reserving a parking spot in advance.
It depends on a variety of factors, including whether the program is sold out, transportation is provided, and/or additional equipment or supplies need to be ordered in advance.
We strongly encourge you to pre-register for any special programs you wish to attend. However, if you miss the deadline, you can contact us to find out if you will be able to register on site for the program you'd like to attend.
Use the self-serve badge-printing kiosk to reprint your own badge or visit Attendee Assistance to have us print one for you.
Please note, there is no need to notify us in advance if you did not receive your badge.
Yes. One-day Exhibit Hall-only badges are available both in advance and on site for a nominal fee of $25 per person.
Children under 18 are admitted at no charge, but must still obtain a badge, as only attendees with badges will be admitted to the Exhibit Hall. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
You may purchase visitor passes on site at the registration counter during regular registration and customer service hours.
For those who are able to attend in-person, both the MVC and our facility hosts will continue to provide various enhanced cleaning and health safeguards. For full details, please read the COVID protocols.
Yes, ARCpoint Labs of Columbus will be on site to provide this service on Friday, Feb. 18 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Saturday, Feb. 19 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
Veterinary professionals who have received rabies pre-exposure vaccination and are at continued risk of exposure should get their titers tested every two years.
The fees are $75 for a rabies antibody screen or $95 for rabies antibody endpoint testing. Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or check payable to ARCpoint Labs.
The MVC does NOT provide meals to attendees, but it does offer complimentary beverages throughout the day.
Attendees will be able to purchase lunch right in the Exhibit Hall during the midday break, and there are a variety of other dining establishments in or within walking distance of the convention center.
Attendees are invited to post and browse employment opportunities and for-sale listings on the bulletin board located outside the Exhibit Hall. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The MVC currently does not host a job fair or other recruitment events, but attendees are welcome and encouraged to use the mobile app to network with colleagues.
The MVC does not provide dedicated private interview space, but attendees may set up small informal meetings amongst themselves in the common areas. The mobile app can also be used to set up appointments with other attendees.
There is a private room designated for nursing mothers located on the south side of the GCCC/Hyatt connector. There are also family restrooms located in the upper A-Pod behind room A210 and another in the GCCC Lounge restrooms near the South Café & Marketplace. These single-use areas are equipped with a seat, electricity, and a lockable door.
Mothers who would like to store their equipment or need access to a refrigerator during sessions may use the OVMA staff office. Stop by the Attendee Assistance counter to inquire.
No, child care is not offered.
Attendees can drop off or look for abandoned items in the MVC Registration & Attendee Assistance area or visit the GCCC/Hyatt lost and found in the Hyatt Regency’s Union hallway.
Yes, a coat check is available each day of the Conference near the Exhibit Hall. Attendees may check coats and luggage, if need be. Refer to the floorplan in the On-Site Program or Mobile App for its specific location.
Due to low attendee interest, we have discontinued audio recording of sessions.
However, some sessions will be video recorded. Although they are available for individual purchase, they will be offered on the Virtual Platform for on-demand viewing a period of 90 days. Visit the CE schedule to find out which sessions will be recorded.
No. Please print your documents in advance if you would like to have a hard copy.
