VIRTUAL MVC
You can register online (preferred method) or by filling out a paper form and mailing it to OVMA with your payment.
Yes. If registering online, simply follow the prompts to add all your staff. If registering by mail, each attendee should complete their own form. You can send all forms together with one payment.
Registrants are able to pay by check; simply select that option on the payment page. Checks should be made payable to OVMA and mailed to 1472 Manning Pkwy., Powell OH 43065 within seven days of registration.
Be advised that any registrant with an outstanding balance will not be able to access the MVC Virtual Platform until payment is received in full.
We are able to keep our registration prices low by encouraging our 6,000+ attendees to self-register online, thus freeing our staff to focus on high-level planning and preparation. In rare instances, we may at our discretion issue an invoice or purchase order upon request, but in the vast majority of cases, we cannot accommodate this request.
If your organization requires prior approval for payment, please refer to the registration fees to create your own purchase order. There are no service fees or taxes in addition to the posted registration rates.
Yes! If registering online, choose the in-person registration option of your choice, then on the Session & Event Selection page, check the box next to "Virtual MVC - Hybrid Add On" at the bottom.
If registering by mail, be sure to select your in-person options (purple box) and the hybrid add-on (green box).
Yes. Not only is this your primary identifier to ensure all your information (contact details, past registrations, payments, membership, etc.) is linked to you, but you will also use it to log in to the MVC Virtual Platform. Please do not unsubscribe from/opt out of emails from OVMA, as this will prevent you from receiving your login password.
If you no longer wish to attend the MVC, you may cancel your registration or transfer it to another individual. Partial refunds of 75% of the fee paid will be issued for cancellations received by Feb. 21, 2021, at 12 p.m. ET. There will be no refunds issued after this date. Refer to your confirmation email for instructions on how to cancel or transfer your registration.
Virtual attendees have 90 days of access to all recorded sessions, the Virtual Exhibit Hall, and Virtual Mind & Body sessions, as well as the online conference proceedings and MVC mobile app.
No, you do not need to select individual sessions, unless you would like a record for your reference.
OVMA is an OVMLB-approved provider of continuing education. Historically, the majority of states accept the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board's approval of MVC programming within their own state, with the exception of Texas.
Click here to find out what other organizations accept the MVC for licensure.
The Virtual MVC will offer 108 hours of educational sessions. Please see the CE schedule or download the Registration Program to see what sessions will be offered virtually.
The amount you may earn by participating in the Virtual MVC varies by state. In Ohio, veterinarians may earn all 30 of their hours online for their 2022 license renewal (note, this is a temporary exception to OVMLB rules).
Please check with your licensing board to determine how many hours of online CE you can use toward license renewal and whether presentations need to be viewed live rather than pre-recorded.
Additionally, the RACE application process for a program of MVC's size involves an expense of several thousand dollars, which would have to be passed on to attendees. Therefore, the MVC does not file for RACE approval.
Registered attendees will be able to access a Certificate of Particpation & Record of Continuing Education, on which they can list the sessions they attended and whether they viewed them live or on demand. More information will be provided to registrants via email as the conference nears.
The virtual MVC is not live. The sessions available on the MVC Virtual Platform are recorded at the live in-person conference. They will be available on demand beginning Feb. 23.
Yes, provided the speaker shares these documents.
No, you may participate in/view any and all virtual sessions you'd like! To see which sessions will be recorded and made available on the Virtual Platform, please see the CE Schedule.
Session recordings will be available 24/7 from Feb. 23 through May 24.
Virtual attendees will receive their login information by email on Feb. 22. Another email will be sent out on Feb. 23 when the platform is open and you can log in.
If you register after Feb. 23, please note, it may take up to one business day to activate your account. You will receive an email when you are able to log in. If you do not receive this email within one business day, please check your spam folder or contact OVMA for assistance.
Make sure you are using the email you used to register. If you aren't sure what email is on file, please contact OVMA to check.
Your email address is not case sensitive; however, the password is. Make sure to include the exclamation mark and no additional spaces before or after.

How do I check in to a booth? Look for text that says "Help OAHF and [Company Name] ensure a brighter future for animals!” (Located at the top of most booths under the logo; for other booths, it may be at the bottom.) Check the box and click submit. In featured booths, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the blue box that says “Get rewarded for your visit” and repeat the above process.

Yes! We will be hosting a Virtual Exhibit Hall, which attendees will be able to access 24/7 once the conference begins. Additionally, we will hold a live Exhibit Hall hour following the end of concurrent sessions each day from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.
The OVMA will not release your contact information to non-exhibiting companies, and we will never provide or sell your email address to any non-exhibiting/sponsoring third parties. Please be aware, however, that the contact information you provide may be obtained by Exhibitors with whom you interact in the Virtual Exhibit Hall.
One of the best parts of the MVC is the exhibition—including the freebies! Although we cannot promise you'll be able to score the usual amount of free pens, bags, and stress balls, many exhibitors will offer raffles or show specials.
The MVC will also make a donation to the Ohio Animal Health Foundation for every booth you check in to. Additionally, we will be raffling off daily and grand prizes for attendees who visit and check in at featured booths! Learn More»
