Session Moderator Duties
A Session Moderator serves as an ambassador to one or more speakers and:
- Introduces the speaker using a prepared script
- Troubleshoots any issues that arise, such as room problems or audio/visual difficulties
- Monitors how much time remains in the session to keep the speaker on schedule
How to Sign Up
Any attendee can moderate, but you must be registered on the day(s) you moderate. Sign-up instructions are included in the attendee confirmation email.
What is Connection Corner, and how can I volunteer?
Give back to the future of veterinary medicine! OVMA Members from all disciplines of veterinary medicine are invited to participate in the annual Connection Corner: Student/DVM Networking Event on Friday at the MVC. Enjoy a complimentary lunch with veterinary students, followed by an hour of power networking, during which you can answer questions, discuss available internship or employment opportunities, and be a part of a valuable connection for students entering the veterinary profession.
