Transportation from the Airport

Registration & Attendee Assistance

Hours: Wednesday, 5 to 6:30 p.m.; Thursday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

OVMA strongly encourages pre-registration, as those who register by the cut-off date, will receive their confirmation materials in the mail and enjoy reduced registration fees. 

However, on-site registration will be available during the above hours. Just pick up an on-site registration form at the kiosk, or save time by downloading a form online (available in February) to fill out prior to arriving at the Conference.

Charging Stations 

Hours: Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If your device battery dies mid-way through the day from all the note taking and mobile app exploring, don’t worry! You’ll be able to recharge your phones, tablets, and laptops in the Exhibit Hall Lounge, compliments of Gold Sponsor IT Corps.

Employment Opportunities 

As always, the MVC will have a bulletin board where attendees can post and browse job openings. And, new in 2018, employers and job seekers will be ableo to come together at the first-ever MVC Job Fair on Saturday.

Mothers’ Corner

For women who need access to a private area, the Convention Center has a comfortable room available for their use.

Titer Testing

Hours: Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Once again, the MVC will offer titer testing on Friday and Saturday. Individuals who have received rabies pre-exposure vaccination and continue to be at risk for exposure are recommended to have their titers tested every two years. The cost of this service, provided by ARCpoint Labs of Columbus, is $75 for a rabies antibody screen or $92 for rabies antibody endpoint testing. Accepted payments include cash, credit card, or check. Results will be available within four weeks.

Wellness Center

Feeling tired and stressed? Stop by the Wellness Center for a quick refresh in between or after sessions. You can sit back and meditate for a few minutes, or take advantage of stress-relieving activities and wellness resources.

Career Opportunities

Attendees will be able to post and browse the job opportunities board, located just outside the Exhibit Hall. Please note, OVMA staff will not be available to help set up or provide materials to post information (such as tape or thumbtacks), and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

And, new in 2018, employers and job seekers will be able to come together at the first-ever MVC Job Fair on Saturday. 

Coat Check

A coat check is available each day of the Conference in the Union Station Ballroom foyer outside Hall A. Attendees may check coats and luggage. Approximate cost of checking a coat or luggage is $2 per item.
